Dust off your boots — it’s Reno Rodeo time! From June 18 to June 28, northern Nevada celebrates one of its most beloved traditions: the Reno Rodeo. At Silver State International, we’re honored to sponsor this iconic event that has united our community for over a century.

A century of tradition and impact

The Reno Rodeo began in 1919 as a small local event and has grown into one of the largest PRCA-sanctioned rodeos in the nation. With more than 140,000 attendees each year, it draws competitors and fans from across the country to witness the best in rodeo action — from bareback riding to steer wrestling to the fan-favorite mutton bustin’.

But beyond the arena lights, the Reno Rodeo makes a real difference:

• Supports the Reno Rodeo Foundation, which provides scholarships, clothing for abused and neglected children, and assistance for families in crisis
• Encourages youth involvement through partnerships with 4-H and FFA
• Helps sustain northern Nevada’s agricultural heritage

Silver State International takes the arena

We’re not just sponsors — this year, our team will compete in the Steer Decorating competition on Friday, June 27. This event is all about teamwork and timing: one person ropes the steer, while the other rushes in to tie a ribbon on its tail. It’s fast, fun, and embodies the coordination we bring to every truck, bus, and service we provide.
