Charlie Brown
Silver State International has promoted Charlie Brown to service manager.
Brown brings more than 15 years of experience to his new role, having joined Silver State International Trucks as a foreman in 2007. He has a strong background in cost estimation, workflow management, ensuring quality repairs and implementing routine quality check procedures. Brown graduated from the Universal Technical Institute in Sacramento.
Certified through Navistar and Cummins, he also received service writing and management training through Navistar. Brown is an active participant in the Truckee Meadows Community College apprenticeship program, as well as in Silver State International sponsored community outreach and public events.
In his new role, his responsibilities include building relationships with customers and staff, managing the service department, retention and expansion, and improving productivity through successful recruitment, employee training, and development.
